owner of A to Z Construction
Since 2005, Val has built A to Z Construction from the ground up into the Twin Cities' go-to team for roofing, siding, and bathroom remodeling — without ever losing the neighborly, hands-on approach that started it all. We're locally owned and independently operated, and that's by design. Val believes a homeowner should always know exactly who's standing behind the work, and in our shop, that's still him.
Val is on the job site, not just behind a desk. As part of our process, he personally meets with the crew and the homeowner on day one of every project to confirm the scope and make sure nothing's changed since the estimate — because the plan you agreed to is the plan you should get. When a storm rolls through, Val is the one who meets the insurance adjuster on-site, speaking their language and making sure your home gets restored to the same quality and kind it had before the damage.
Over 20+ years in home construction, Val has guided homeowners through everything from a single cracked tile to a full roof replacement, and he's never been shy about steering a customer toward the honest, straightforward answer — even when that means recommending a simple repair instead of a bigger job. That reputation shows up in how our neighbors talk about him. As one recent customer put it, "Val, the owner, is professional, responsive, and easy to work with. He provides quotes quickly, which makes it easy to plan and stay within budget, and he follows through on the schedule he sets." Another homeowner summed it up just as simply: "Val is reliable, trustworthy, fair."
Under Val's leadership, A to Z Construction has earned recognition as an Owens Corning Preferred Contractor and a GAF Certified Roofing Contractor — credentials that back up the craftsmanship our crews bring to every roof, siding, and bathroom project across Maple Grove, Plymouth, Minneapolis, and the surrounding Twin Cities metro.
